Food is literally necessary to sustain life. However, food is also, for many of us, a way to cope, a distraction, something we perhaps even an obsession. One of the first things that we do when we enter this world, is seek sustenance. And often, a specific food or meal becomes connected to a memory, an event or even an identity. It holds a place in our histories, our current realities, our imaginations & our futures.

I personally have had a…strange, troubled relationship with food.
